Meet Buddy the Labradoodle at Dog Training Camp
Buddy comes to the K9 Coach Multisports Dog Training Camp as a one year old labradoodle with a lot of energy that he doesn’t really know what to do with. He’s got a really great family, with 2 parents and 4 kids but they get frustrated with him a lot because he just isn’t focused on anything. He’s super friendly, wants to run up to everyone and greet them. Doesn’t mind putting his sandy wet paws on the clothes you are sporting for the day…. leaving big dirty paw prints. And certainly doesn’t come when called.
He gets to go to Del Mar Dog beach because he lives there…. but his time there has been limited because Buddy doesn’t know how to come when called. One of the last straws that led to finding a dog training camp for him was when he went to the beach and ended up being brought home by a very nice man that found him…. Buddy decided to run, and run, and run, and run…. and who knows where he stopped.
Anyway, here he is at camp and after just a couple short days he’s already learning how to use all of his very energetic ways to be focused on things he’s supposed to be doing. Like walking on a leash without pulling to get to every other dog he sees. And sitting when he’s asked to even when there are other dogs coming or a person who looks like there is a possibility of a pet.
He’s very sweet, fun to train and working very diligently on recall. Again, K9 Coach of San Diego and Temecula believes the most important thing you can teach your dog is to come back to you in any circumstance. Coupled with knowing how to walk on a leash and being able to sit when asked and a dog like Buddy ends up being able to go anywhere with you.
Check out Buddy’s photos…. he’s training at the beach and already is doing fabulous!
